Hello Caballeros,

It’s time for the annual order of Tejas Caballeros Member badges!

At the bottom of this Post is a Badge Order Form in pdf and MSWord. Please print the order form, complete all data and mail or bring the form to the Cab’s shooting range along with your check.

A separate Order Form is required for each badge. Please make your check payable to The Tejas Caballeros Cowboy Shooting Club.

Pricing? No change since 2012… still $45 for German Silver and $55 for Gold.

Please type or print all data very legibly… every effort is made to avoid errors in these orders and it begins with your clear presentation of data.

A New Silver Discovery!

The Tejas Caballeros Cowboy Action Shooting Club is pleased to announce a Celebratory Inaugural Cowboy Shoot at their new range this

Saturday, January 21…..and you are invited!

While there was disappointment in the loss of their Flat Creek Range a few months ago, the Cabs made a discovery of a new silver mine on the grounds of Texas Republic Ranch.

Mining activity has produced the new town of Determination, TX.

Inaugural Shoot: Saturday, January 21

8:30 ~ Range Opens

9:00 – 9:30 ~ Registration, Free Coffee, Juice, Pastries, Breakfast Tacos

9:45 ~ Safety Meeting, (Mandatory)

10:00 ~ Hammers Down, (Inaugural Shoot Begins)

Shooting 6 stages, (round count: 60, 60 & 24)

* One of the Stages is the Outlaw Cabin – you gotta go get those outlaws by shooting targets at the Cabin and then moving down-range to catch those awful bad guys! You will help us protect our town!

Outlaw Cabin Stage at TRR

We’ll have an exciting new stage at Texas Republic Ranch called the Outlaw Cabin. This stage is unique in that it is one of the few around where you will move down range during the shoot. This stage will have a number of other cool features, but you will have to come out yourself to see them. Check out the door on the backside and the outhouse behind the building which is there as a prop. We will soon have flush toilets in our new Registration building.

Mine Cart Stage at TRR

One of your favorite stages at Flat Creek was the mine cart, so of course we had to have one at TRR. Here are a few photos of the Black Diamond Mine #2. A fun feature on this stage is the addition of the mine tunnel at the end.

Home on the Range 12/16 & 12/17/2016

We had another great work crrew out at the TRR on Friday and Saturday and we got a lot accomplished.

On Friday, Dragon Hill Dave, Cowboy Small, River Ben and Sole Proprietor put up the rafters and one side wall on the Sheriff’s Office before installing the roofing sheet metal. Meanwhile, Jacie Lane and Judge Menday erected roof posts and beams and continued construction on the Outlaw Cabin. Barb Steele was busy organizing the new storage shed on both days.

On Saturday, El Zopilote Viejo, Judge Menday, Jacie, Cowboy Small, Sole Proprietor, Madam V and River Ben converged on the Outlaw Cabin; installing roofing panels, finishing exterior walls and patching walls. The cabin is now complete except for the interior decor.

Finally, we moved to the Mine Cart tunnel and raised the roof there. Great work by all concerned!

Range Progress 12/1/16

Heartfelt thanks to Barb Steele, River Ben, Cowboy Small, Skyfall, Travelin’ Jones, El Zopilote Viejo, Sole Proprietor, Manchaca Kid, Margo Rita, Judge Menday Coming and Jacie Lane for all their hard work on the new Texas Republic Range.

Manchaca, Ben, Travelin, and Cowboy made great progress on the Sheriff’s Office, building a shooting platform, trimming the doors and windows, and fitting the jail cell bars to the space available. Margo was out fetching supplies for the work. Sole finished up the front stairs on the Saloon while Barb and Zopilote finished cleaning up the burn pile. Jacie, Judge and Skyfall continued building the Outlaw Cabin.

TRR is really beginning to look like a Cowboy Shooting Range. We couldn’t have made the progress we have without all of our wonderful volunteers. Thanks to all of you!
